We have tried so many Halal burger places in the Bay Area, and none of them have come close to Illegal Burgers. We ordered the Giant Japanese Wagyu meat in the The Boss style burger and the Giant Brisket Steak meat in Hot Mama Spicy style burger. We also ordered the garlic fries. What Victoria doesn't like about Illegal Burgers:
Meat is mixed with too many fillers, I was wondering why the ordering system does not ask how I wanted my meat cooked. The cheese made the burger too salty, the meat itself was not impressive due to it having stuff mixed in. There was one tomato in it and it just wasn't a good burger to me. View all feedback.
I had illegal burger, everyone said this is best burger they had I would question that. As soon I picked up to eat it fell a apart. I had an upset stomach all night long. Owner does not look like they are Muslim they gave me Namaste sign. So confirm if they buy halal meat. The restaurant looks like run down it is not the best place to eat.
Burgers here are extraordinarily good as I've had them a few times before but haven't been able to dine in for the 6 attempts i made since the place is closed at random times. I also called ahead last week to ask if the place was open at 4:50. They said they're open till 7 that day, we made a plan and reached the place at 5:35 PM, lo and behold all 7 of us left dissapointed as the place was once again closed and one of the staff members (I think it was the owner as I've seen him a few times in the restaurant) was driving off.Honestly I have never experienced this as a customer before. The food is great but this is just plain disrespectful to customers and wastes their time.
Great burgers. a little less salt and it would be perfect, otherwise perfectly cooked and very fresh.
They have a diverse menu from burgers to Mediterranean options with a California twist. CBD options both in food and drinks which is really nice. I am a big advocate for CBD products. I find physical relief from tension related pains with out any head change or high feeling. If you are looking for some good food that hits the spot definitely give this place a try.
(4.5 ? 's)So I keep forgetting to try this spot and today I did and I must say,I 'm glad I finally did. Prices are pretty fair especially if you choose Angus beef and their burger aren 't huge or small but just right and hits the spot PERFECTLY! I don 't feel gross whatsoever and can continue on the day w/o being in a Food coma situation. Will definitely eat here again and spread the word to friend or foe. I especially would like to try it in Wagyu beef version but gotta penny pinch.Pros: Great value Portions Meat was juicy and bun was nicely toasted and wasn 't soggy as this was delivered! Meat was flavorful. Burger tasted very fresh.Cons: Fries were slightly salty for my likings. (Not hateful) Where 's the grilled onions!?(Got to have that option) Price of Wagyu version option(but I understand) Need a food challenge lol
