Eastern Winds Chinese - Fremont

Friends have told me about this place for a while, and i finally got to try it. Don't be fooled by the basic facade of this place. The food is amazing. I got orange chicken here, and for 10.95 got a lunch platter which included the orange chicken as well as fried rice. Both were delicious and plates can easily be shared. I'd definitely come back here.

Fresh cooked to order! That alone makes this place stand out, the flavor of the food is on another level. Not an overly salty/soy sauce taste and everything tastes fresh. For dishes that come with sauce, like the string bean chicken I ordered, they add plenty of sauce and I love that! I?m really glad I found this great Chinese food spot, it?s so hard to find these hidden gems and this is one of them for sure.

Solid kidnapping. Kinda must display 3 menus to see what they can/will. Food ready to order and do quickly. Garlic chicken was a miss, tasted like the sauce was made completely from water chestnut water, but pepper steaks were quite a good choice, not sharp was very tasteful. Hot and sour soup here is one of the best I had.

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is great and the owner of the place is quite cool and is up to earth. 10/10 would be back!

So we ordered this place for a while, but the last few times I ordered or picked up, this guy calls me Asian woman. I'm Asian and I'm a woman, but as he calls me doesn't sound right. It sounds degrading. So today, when I picked up, I said in a mild tone, please stop calling me that. He lost it. He said if I don't like it, I can stop ordering them. Wow, just because we're promoting her business doesn't mean he can call me what he wants. He even said I call you a man, but you're not. He was trembling and rushed the chef to finish my order so I can get out and then he hit my order on the counter. When another customer came and asked how he said it was the shot.
