The restaurant offers fantastic food, excellent service, and a clean environment. The fact that it is family-owned adds a special touch. I ordered the medium-sized fried chicken platter with all the sauces on the side, and it was delicious. The chicken pieces were not overly large, indicating that they are not using old chickens. Additionally, everything is prepared from scratch. I left feeling satisfied and content, and I highly recommend this restaurant to others.

I dropped in with a couple of friends before hitting up the recliner theater at New Park Mall. Not the greatest chicken I 've had. To tell you the truth, I 'm not a slathered wings kind of guy. I can get down with the saucy stylings of 99 Chicken that people tend to compare all K-chicken to, but that 's about it. No BWWs, no SmokeEaters, no Wing Stop hOOters. Give me tenders any day with dipping sauce on the side... yep. Come to my table 's surprise, let 's just order a medium was a shocker. I filled the void with orders of onion rings and 'COCO pops ' which were their version of fried chicken breast bites--crunchy, dry and a little short in value but I probably enjoyed them the most. You can pretty much say the same about all their fried items starring their Fried Chicken plates. I can 't complain about the service though. It seemed like there were only two inhouse that lunch service, the server/cashier and cook. The frontman was good to us, gave us a free salad bar and even asked if we needed anything else when I put up for the bill. Said he liked my WS '12 Giants shirt too. Worth a try if you got a deep fry hankering.

No. Just NO!!!!! I came here because a handful of my Yelp buddies pretty much raved about Coco Chicken. I decided to skip a trip to Bonchon and decided to put the Korean fried chicken to the test. Our party of two came into a pretty empty house, only one other table was being occupied. Do keep in mind that this establishment is quite small, it consists of about 6-7 tables. One perk in coming here is the complimentary hot tea. The menu is pretty straight forward. Coco offers appetizers, fried chicken combos, and there are some grilled Korean dishes as well. We placed our order for: -The LARGE CHICKEN COMBO: 8 drums, 6 wings. Half of the order was made with sweet hot and the remaining half was made with soy garlic sauce. -SEASONED POTATO WEDGES -MACARONI SALAD -BROWNIE SUNDAE -SIDE SALAD [complimentary] X2 So here's the rundown: There is no salad bar that so many yelpers had mentioned. BOOOO!!! The side salad was good, the seasoned potato wedges were delicious. The macaroni salad was absolutely disgusting- it was waaaay too sweet and neither one of us could stomach eating more than a few pieces. It was described to me by the owner(? as being more of an island macaroni dish with a sweet taste resembling pineapple|tropical fruit. For those of you who aren't used to SWEET mac salad [like myself] don't bother wasting your money, calories, or food. The Korean fried chicken was cooked thoroughly but was not crispy. DON'T COME HERE EXPECTING AUTHENTIC KFC- extra crunchy on the outside even with sauce drizzled and moist on the inside. Our chicken was soggy from the sauce which wouldn't be an issue if the sauce actually tasted good. The sweet hot sauce was just sweet and like some of the other yelpers mentioned, the soy garlic sauce was watery and had no flavor. I was even forced to request some extra soy garlic sauce on the side so I could soak my chicken. That had no effect and was just extremely disappointing. The brownie sundae was quite tasty -although it was very obvious that the brownies were most likely purchased and just heated up in a microwave or something. One star for the food and another extra star solely thanks to the customer service. I literally had to go back and re-read the reviews from my Yelp buddies and finally realized that all of the good reviews were from YEARS ago!! The business seems to have gone downhill since new management took over. Do yourself a favor and head to the nearest Bonchon!!

Love their fried chicken! It?s so big, juicy and tasty. Can?t wait to eat them again ??

I was craving Crispy Yangnyeom Chicken, drenched yummy mild red sauce under that crispy goodness. I wish it was possible to mix flavors for half orders since it's nearly $20, however, it's delicious and I'll keep coming back
