Vanilla Bean - Fremantle
Vanilla Bean
Description
This cozy cafe located between South Freo and its neighboring area may seem standard at first, but it has some hidden gems. Opening at six is a big advantage for commuters needing an early fix, and the good customer service and quality coffee are a plus. Though the prices may be a bit higher due to its location, the coffee is worth it. While the standard cafe fare appears fresh and well-made, the place might lack excitement for some. However, it's great for a disappointment-free morning brew. Offering a friendly staff, good menu variety, and a pleasant vibe, it's a perfect spot for singles, couples, families, and friends. The cafe exudes an upbeat atmosphere, with excellent breakfast muffins, croissants, and substantial meals, alongside exceptional coffee. Customers often make it a halfway pit stop during bike rides from Perth, enjoying good food, top-notch coffee, and excellent service. Additionally, the attentive staff always make special gestures, like recognizing regular customers and having their orders ready.

Great coffee. Nice vibe and super friendly staffs! Always smiling and cheerful. Love the Salmon Pattie, mini quiche and love the atmosphere.
The coffee is good and worth stopping for, the staff have always been friendly when I’ve been in there. I’ve only eaten here once, had the grilled mushroom on toast, it was enjoyable. They have pre-made food ready to go as well so you can get a quick takeaway
Nice coffee and very good services. The best coffee in Freo. The foods are very fantastic with very fresh salad and they change everyday to make everything different.
Fantastic food and terrific service staff wonderful have found a newvenue for lunches and breakfast .Like anywhere else you do wait if you are in a queue, because they are so busy. A good sign when many people goworth the wait which wasn't that long.
So, oft times the term vanilla is used to imply a bland or unexciting thing, and on first glance, this border land establishment between South Freo and its non-geographically pigeon holed neighbour, is a little standard in terms of decor and offerings...<br/ <br/ But as with books and covers, such things do not tell the whole story. <br/ <br/ It's first redeeming quality is that it opens at six...so if you're commuting anywhere early this is a significant win. <br/ <br/ Second of all, it does the fundamental basics well. Good customer service (very good in fact) and good coffee. <br/ <br/ Trapped in the border lands it does feel it can charge a bit more for its brew, so bring a little bit more shrapnel with you for your fix, but that's ok....it's a solid coffee at still an acceptable price. <br/ <br/ I have never eaten here, but the standard cafe fare on offer always looks fresh and well made. So wouldn't say no if someone organised brunch here, but possibly would venture somewhere a little more exciting if I had responsibilities for venue. <br/ <br/ Need an early morning fix that you know will be good however? Drop in for a disappointment free brew!
