We found the service to be incredibly slow and grudging and we couldn't have been made less welcome (I had to go and collect my own cutlery in the end). The menu was limited and when it eventually arrived the food varied from OK to pretty unpleasant. The chips were very oily, the andouillettes not that nice, the pesto pasta passable and the burger nice. All in all, as the only meal out of the trip, it was a real disappointment.

We should have cottoned... read more Whilst the food wasn't a total disaster (salad, burger, fries, chicken nuggets and moule mariniere were okay) the service was shocking! We should have cottoned on when we arrived and got a luke warm reception and seated near the toilets at the back of the restaurant on two separate tables despite the fact there were empty tables al fresco. The starters arrived at the same time as the mains and after an hours wait. Our five year old was served last out of our party of nine and we gave up waiting for the children's ice cream to arrive and left. The restaurant was almost empty and it was clear that anyone local was getting served before us. The fish soup was inedible as were the children's fish nuggets. They overcharged us for an extra glass of wine and there was no apology when we politely told them we weren't happy.
