What can I say...excellent service by the owner. A lovely lady with an excellent manner. The chef came out to say hello, who I presumed was the husband of the lady. The food was simply delicious and very reasonable in price. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

What a wonderful place the food was fantastic again the service was first class again, Catrina and manu gave us a wonderful welcome Would certainly recommend a visit to this rustic French reasturaunt to anyone.

Ich kann die Euphorie überhaupt nicht teilen. Das Essen war "gewöhnlich", man sitzt direkt neben einer stark befahrenen Seitenstraße unterhalb des Marktplatzes und der Kellner / Besitzer ist sehr reserviert - um es noch freundlich auszudrücken. Doch das "beste" war: während unseres Essens kommt oben erwähnte Kellner / Besitzer raus, fängt neben unserem Tisch an zu rauchen und kratzt sich dabei gemütlich am Hinterteil. In der Hose - versteht sich. Mit diesen hygienisch sauberen Fingern serviert er den Gästen die Teller. Lecker! Ich kann nur jedem abraten, hier einzukehren!

We went into La Riviera at random to get out of the rain and were delighted with it. It was a low season weekday night and the owners' children and lodger were the only other diners, but front of house Carina and her husband Manu the chef could not have made us feel more welcome. The decor is clean, quirky and homely and the food is first-class French country cooking. My chicken escalope with cheese and ham was delicious, as was my companion's really tender beef bourgignon. The sauté potatoes are to die for! The food arrived quickly and was remarkably good value at around €12 for a main course. The portions are large but Carina is happy to pack up leftovers to take away. Whether you want a quick bite or a relaxed family meal, I can't recommend La Riviera highly enough.
