La Cave de Marie - Fréjus

Just a lovely spot, easily missed. Just across the road from a small car park and right at the marine. We found ourselves visiting this place regularly with our young family for brunch. I would definitely recommend you seek it out.

We just passed by, but the sign oysters with a glass of wine was to much to resist. We enterred a lovely winebar and didn't regret it for a second. Great provencale rosé and very tasty oysters. I'm dure what ever you order you won't regret it.

We discovered this restaurant while walking around Port Frejus in the evening. Friendly and comfortable, they have a good wine selection, and well-served finger food to share. Easily accessible: we parked right across the street. I especially liked the "iberic" plate with chorizo and spanish ham, which were very tasty. My husband tried the oysters with delicious French white wine. On our way out, we bought bottles (this is a wine cellar also, with great prices), among which the Rose de Figuieres, a true discovery! Large choice of wine. Lovely platters of "charcuterie". So we went back the next day for lunch with all the family.

This place should not be listed as a place to eat. They serve wines and tapas only. No food whatsoever. Be aware.
