De La Piscine - Fréjus

I went there last Sunday, April 29 for lunch with my father Jacques. The dishes we chose were of a quality worthy of a starred restaurant. I chose a filet de Saint Pierre with virgin sauce, the non-frozen net served in generous quantity and cooked vegetables including perfect cooked peas and delicate and well-doved virgin sauce. Jacques chose a mice of lamb with the same vegetables, he found his delicious dish. The chief deserves more than 5 stars. If he wants to change his restaurant he will have no worries to do, we can recommend it. Before I went to pay I went to see the person at the caisse, I presume the Patronne to tell him that a meeting that the theme of the Carbon Emblem organized by Crédit Agricole would take place on May 10, 2023 at 6:30 pm at the Forum of Fréjus. She got mad at the banks in general, maybe following bad experiences with her bank that is certainly not the Agricole credit, she lost her cold blood and almost insulted me. The setting that is not up to the quality of the dishes served La Patronne. These last points dropped the score from 5 to 3 stars I want to go back for the quality of the dishes but I will refrain from it given the negative points mentioned.

Family run restaurant with friendly efficient service on the Base Nature at Frejus with sea view. LImited menu choices to suit all, well cooked and presented.

We visited in the evening so the kids could spend ten minutes on the public beach out front, then we sat down to a nice meal in relaxed atmosphere. The food is simple but tasty and has plenty of choice for the family. The staff are attentive and friendly.

L'endroit est joli et agréable. Cependant, les prix sont élevés pour la cuisine proposée. Une salade césar à 19 euros et un ceviche de loup insipide et non assaisonné à 25 euros ! Nous sommes en bord de mer et c'est très cher pour des portions plutôt réduites. De plus, nous avons réservé une table et nous en avons eu une autre. Malgré tout, l'endroit est sympa mais la cuisine est moyenne. Le point positif est le feu tiré en face du restaurant. Cependant, les toilettes étaient très sales et dégageaient une mauvaise odeur.

Very good, very nice frame and staff. Too bad the card is not renewed.
