This food is a s good as any Bavarian restaurant in Munich! They also have some typical "international" dishes. Lots of German beer of course. The food service staff were all very friendly and helpful. View all feedback.
What Elise Heinze doesn't like about Restaurant Stub'n:
The food is average, service is not brilliant and prices typical for a hotel. If you don't want to leave you will get what you would expect from an airport hotel. View all feedback.
This is a little restaurant, but they made the best soup ever! The waitress was adorable and we really enjoyed our dinner here.
We arrived late and just wanted something light. We chose a bowl of the soup of the day. It was large, hot, and delicious. It came with some delicious fresh baked whole grain bread. Yumm!
I had the absolute pleasure to dine at this restaurant. It's decorated with typical German outdoor farmers items. The seats were comfortable and the table big enough for 2 people to eat from.I had the onion soup as appetizer. Lovely. Followed by the Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes and onions. DELICIOUS!!!! I start drooling already thinking of it. Excellent. It came with a small salad.Desert was the apfel strudel with vanilla ice cream. Now here was a bummer. The taste was great, temperature fine but the apples........I DON'T want to taste the hard shell like pieces that come from the core of the apple. I dislike that very much. Why still an Excellent rating? The overall experience and the rest of the for was amazing and the apple distraction was a minor item in the big picture.
We had dinner during a two-day off-site meeting here. The restaurant offered three starters, main courses, and desserts for the ten of us. Nice.I had the Cesar salad for a starter, and grilled salmon on risotto for the main course. The salad was huge. Seriously huge. Bigly, as some one would say. The grilled chicken topping was crisp and reasonably fresh. Unlike the croûtons, which were obviously convenience stuff, and consequently bland with a taste of powdered soup. The dressing was non-descript, and light years away from an original Cesar dressing. The grilled salmon was a bit on the dry side. The risotto was decent, but not great. Firmer to the bite than necessary, yet still somewhat gooey. If that sounds overly critical, it shouldn't. Everything was perfectly edible, just not top notch. On the up side, the staff were super friendly, and amazingly efficient. We never had to wait for a beer (cold, crisp, well poured) for more than 60 seconds. Amazing - even by Bavarian standards. The wines were also all right, albeit not great.Overall, a pleasant experience. The kitchen works well above standard hotel kitchens, and the drinks were affordable, fast, and tasty. Nice.
