In this lovely place nearby Cansiglio at 1.200 metres high you can taste real farm food with an amazing view on Italian mountains. Location is breathtaking and close to nice beech and pine forests where you can have long walking.
Genuine local food, great service, nice rustic atmosphere... at a more than reasonable price. A nice way to conclude a day-trip to the nearby Cansiglio woods. I definitely plan to dine here again!
We arrived here after a 2 hour walk. Because it was a holiday weekend, the place was absolutely packed and or chances of sitting and grabbing a bite to eat were looking dismal. What I didn't know was that the place is accessible by car, so that explained the crowd anyway.... Surely they couldn't be as hungry as us? We had after all walked here! We swiftly occupied one of the outside tables and one in our company didn't hesitate in purchasing a FANTASTIC piece of cheese that is produced here. It was only minutes after we'd been seated when the smiling waiter came and took our orders. This is when it gets better! Simply genuine food cooked beautifully. Lovely wine, great coffee and all very reasonably priced. Thank you! We will be back.
