Was Carl D at Freestone Artisan Cheese a mag?
We stopped in on our way up to the north coast for some cheese, and also came away with some of their delicious dry salami. Their Toma cheese is now one of my favorites. Great baked cracker selection, too! Worth a quick detour off the highway! View all feedback.

We hit the jackpot when we found this place! The service is friendly, with rock music playing in the background. There are tastings available, along with some really unique items—what more could you ask for? The cozy seating areas are a nice touch. The crepes are delicious, and they even offer gluten-free options!
Charming little cheese shop that is definitely worth a visit. The staff are very friendly!
We visited this restaurant one day just before closing time and were pleasantly surprised. The staff member who assisted us was incredibly friendly and helpful. He didn't rush us and genuinely seemed interested in helping us find what we wanted. They offer a fantastic selection of options to choose from. We will definitely return when we're in the area again!
Love this place! The staff and products are fantastic! I highly recommend buying your provisions here.
