Walking around Freeport is tiresome. And there are usually restaurants. But I saw this place going up and the second time I came by, I saw they had soup. Lobster Bisque. Oh, man. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Linda Bean's Lobster Roll Stand:
Gotta be honest, wasn't impressed by the kitchen. Slow to get food out, and 2 of three orders were not made to the menu description (missing items). Server seemed to be overworked, and constantly huffing. Hot dogs for the kids were basic, and unappealing. The brie grilled cheese was mostly apple, and lacked taste. View all feedback.
The food was excellent! They had charming outdoor tables in a very dog-friendly setting. The service was outstanding and quick. We will definitely come back when we're in the area again.
I'm here to share my thoughts on the hot dog option at this restaurant. It was a great deal—just $4 for a toasted roll, a side of coleslaw, a bag of chips, and pickles. While it might not be a gourmet meal, I had a fantastic time enjoying it at a picnic table on a lovely sunny day.
The lobster roll was delightful, and the lobster bisque was excellent—though it could have used a splash of sherry. This is my favorite place right next to LL Bean.
Just wanted clam chowder. Got the bowl size and it had mostly potatoes and hardly no clams! Very dissapointing because the sign said lots of clams!! The flavor was not the best for sure. Would not recommend that item on their menue.
This was delicious! I was honestly not expecting anything much. I it’s basically a little lobster shack built into the side of the L.L.Bean building. There were three very hard-working people that turn out some really delicious food!
