this place is amazing. they lead wonderful specialties, as well as their usual baked and donuts for every holiday. they are a basic attitude in this community, large companies operated by an even larger family. 10/10 recommend. View all feedback.
We went on a school field trip to this restaurant, and our guide did an excellent job. She was wonderful with the children and provided a lot of information about the farm, making it a fantastic learning experience for them. The restaurant has an amazing playground with slides, a sandbox, hay bale pile, basketball games, bikes, tricycles, animals, and a corn house where kids can play. The store sells homemade doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, apple cider slushies, and more. The only thing I wished for was more time to play at the park during our trip, but our schedule was packed. We started with a hay ride that showed different things along the trail, then visited the park, had doughnuts and cider, went on a walk through the woods to pick apples and learn about the farm, saw the apple processing machines, and even made our own cider. The highlight of the trip was our fantastic guide, who clearly loves her job and the restaurant.
Had a blast first time there alot for the kids to do prices are reasonable highly recommended
The restaurant has a nice playground with plenty of activities. However, the walkway leading to other activities can get a bit crowded, especially near the food window.
Having heard about Leaman's Green Applebarn for years, we finally made the trip on Saturday. I was surprised, at first, that there was an $8 entry fee, but when we realized what was included (entry into the corn maze, hayride, play area access, petting zoo more), I realized it was comparable to the orchards around us (if not more affordable). The treats/drinks seemed a little overpriced, but the store was lovely, the environment was friendly, and it was a really fun way to spend an autumn afternoon. We may have found a new family tradition!
I still will go here every fall, it’s just tradition now. But, it’s not the same as when my boyfriend and I were going many years ago.The prices for the cider donut slushie sundaes is absolutely why I gave it 3/5 stars. I remember 2-3 years ago when they were $6, last year it was $7 and I thought that was a lot. I went with my mom two weekends ago, they are now a sky-rocketing $9 a piece. I can’t even imagine if you had kids. They are delicious but not worth $9. I’m not broke but I’m also not gullible. I know labor/supply costs have gone up, but there isn’t a justification for that price!Their cider donuts are still affordable and delicious, $5-$7 for a pack of them. I love their playgrounds for kids (although I have no kids. Love the hay ride in the Fall time. The inside shop has lots of products to try.Overall, I’ll still come once a year to check out how the place is changing, but I’m not invested anymore. It’s too pricey, not enough for me to do without having kids, they have a maze but last year, it got so muddy that it was impossible to really do and it wasn’t that long of maze.
