We stopped here on a cross country road trip and found this restaurant conveniently located near many downtown attractions. It has a varied menu, excellent selection of beverages and we appreciated the friendly service from Lindsi. It seems like a good place to visit for couples and for families. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The James Joyce:
This is a typical pub. We sat in some overstuffed chairs and waited for service. Then we waited for drinks. Then we waited to have our order taken. Then we WAITED for our food. The menu had some unique items and when it finally arrived was tasty and at the correct temperature. Then we WAITED for the bill. View all feedback.
This restaurant is terrible. There is only one server, and he is more focused on the large table of 20 than the small table of 5. After waiting for 20 minutes, we still did not receive any help.

We tried this place out last night. Winners: burger, fries, fish Disappointing: salads (size and taste) poor value for money
Amazing beer selection, and their burgers are definitely some of the best in town. You may have to wait a while for your order but it'll be worth the wait.
Nice, clean, and roomy pub atmosphere. The food however is not typical pub fare. This is upscale stuff.....really nice innovated menu and flavor profiles. Kudos to the chefs.....we will be back
