Pretty decent donuts, I found them a little too topping heavy, that's kind of the point of these donuts. They were well made and donuts themselves were really good. View all feedback.
What Amélie S doesn't like about The Donut:
The donuts are phenomenal and delicious. You can totally taste the yeast, in a good way. However, The Donut Bar itself has no soul, unlike donut shops in Halifax and Charlottetown. At The Donut Bar, donuts cost nearly a whopping $5 each!? Which is a total rip-off. Not to mention, that they do not accept cash and the POS system prompts you to leave a 15% tip to a person at the cash who sits on a stool all day and does... View all feedback.
I like it, and my thumb hurts, it kind sucks that they don't take cash but its covid and I understand and mq
This place is awesome. I made the trip there all the way from St.Stephen.The donuts are light and fluffy. But, my God are they sweet. Diabetics beware this is not the place for you.
I had high hopes for a delicious donut, but when we arrived at noon, there were only four options available. The pictures on Yelp looked much more enticing than what we ended up purchasing. The donuts were okay in taste, but they didn't quite live up to my expectations.
These donuts are delightful and have a cake-like texture! Unlike some other donut shops, they're not greasy or too airy.
The donuts were generally quite good. I did find them a bit overboard with the toppings, which appears to be the style they aim for. However, they were excellently made, and the donuts themselves were really tasty.
