Contribute FeedbackExpecting a traditional dining experience, diners were surprised by a buffet lacking advertised menu items. While the service and ambiance were decent, the prices did not align with the cafeteria-style offerings. Despite this, the food received high praise for its flavors and spices. However, a negative experience on Valentine's Day involving slow service and confusion led one couple to walk out. While the food was delicious, the lack of attentiveness from staff ultimately tarnished their visit. Suggestions were made to alert customers in advance about buffet options to manage expectations.
The food tasted old and it was not good. Will not go back
We were looking forward to our lunch and expecting a regular restaurant with the advertised menu. Instead there was a buffet with a number of offerings, but no lamb, eggplant, fish etc. — just vegetarian or chicken with naan and spicesyogurt sides. We heard there was dessert and tea but decided not to risk it. I would not have ordered any of these dishes if we had had the regular menu. We were disappointed, but if people were to know ahead of time this is more cafeteria than fine dining, maybe they would tolerate the buffet and appreciate the prices. The prices were not reasonable, so think of it as a lowprice Indian cafeteria if you are heading there for lunch. The service and ambiance were fine. The server mentioned that they were expecting the hurricane might keep people away. Seems strange because it was not near and the forecast had it going in the opposite direction, but maybe that is why they did not cook to order. Anyway, we will not be back to find out
Food was incredible. The delicate spices and flavors were amazing! They brought the food exactly as ordered, mild. We absolutely loved it! We ordered the vegetarian and the meat platters
The staff was amazing at explaining the different dishes which all were so very tasty!! I felt like I was being treated like royalty but yet very cozy and inviting
We had a horrible experience here on Valentines Day no less. We had reservations for Showed up and watched two couples who got there after us with no reservation seated before us. Finally seated min later it took another min later to get just water and another to get a waitress to order. We ordered from the kitchen and about min later the manager tells us to grab a small plate from buffet while we wait, best part of the night. Long story short, hour and a half later we ask about our food. Nobody knows but says again it's coming soon. Waitresses kept asking us what we needed and if we wanted to pay thinking we got buffet despite repeated tales of our long wait and no food yet. Wife couldn't even get her drink she ordered in an hour and a half. We walked out the door and didn't look back. Way to ruin a special night. A simple if you order from kitchen it'll be awhile would have sufficed when we sat down and we'd had done the buffet. But the sheer confusion and lack of any attentiveness was absolutely ridiculous. We will not be returning. Ever. Nor recommending this place to anyone. Head next door to Aladdin, you won't be disappointed
