Sammy T's. - Fredericksburg

We?ve been going to this restaurant for years and always head here first for lunch. We love the friendly atmosphere and delicious food! Several menu items are healthier vegetarian or vegan choices. In addition to sharing a delicious appetizer of black bean nachos with grilled chicken, I had an avocado sandwich with horseradish sauce, cheese and a few other vegetables. I confess we also had some desert, so today was my keto cheat day. It was worth it!

Surprisingly good food! Excellent service and solid atmosphere. Really enjoyed this place more than expected. Grass fed burger was cooked perfectly (medium rare, of course), good salad, decent wine selection. The tofu and fried broccoli appetizer was very good as well.

This is definitely where are the locals go and with reason. Dedicated in loving memory to the previous owner it?s is cozy and has that bustling old town personality. There is food for everyone AND especially the health conscious. But don?t worry everything is super tasty. For lunch I had the Moroccan salad and corn bread (to die for). Decided I am coming for dinner too ! I am traveling through VA on a me-cation

Inside and outside seating on Caroline (main) St. I love Jeffrey!!! Their hummus is awesome and sweet potato fries are the bomb. Good food and great service!

Wonderful meal! Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. Kate was like a breath of fresh air. She was friendly, personable and very attentive. The caprese salad is unique with capers and pesto and the house-made balsamic dressing is to die for. We also enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip which has large pieces of artichoke hearts and fresh spinach. The menu is unique and it was difficult to choose but Kate made it easier with her great knowledge of the menu and its ingredients. We have been here for a few days and we’re extremely happy to have found SammyT’s as it was the first good meal we’ve had of 5 restaurants we have visited in Fredericksburg. We have already decided to go again tomorrow, this time for lunch, on our way out of town. If you’re looking for a fresh, healthy, delicious meal, don’t pass this place up. Yes, it’s got many vegan options but the burger and club sandwich were also delicious. Thank you Kate, you are a jewel.
