This was probably the best German food we had in our visit to Fredericksburg (and we ate German food for every meal). The amount of meat was a little skimpy in the stroganoff but the flavor was excellent. Our meals were pretty average. However the bartender made a great margarita. Pork was too tough, goulash meat was tough and the dish wasn't hot. Our server Annette was very nice. View all feedback.
We went here for a break in the day. The beer, especially draft is cold and delicious. The appetizers, pretzels, sauerkraut balls , and sausage were all good.

This is a never-miss place for us when we travel through the area. The outdoor beer garden with its stage is so lovely, shady, and comfy. The interior is light and beautiful. The service is always top notch! But the biggest draw for us is the schnitzel (best I've ever had, especially the Zwiebelschnitzel) and the sangria (yes, really). Every single dessert on the menu is delicious, too!
The food was okay, but the customer service was not good. I can say that the atmosphere inside the store is good, but there were a lot of flies, which was a bit disappointing. It's located at the edge of town, so there weren't many customers.
Mediocre food, flat beer, disinterested wait staff. Moderate high price. Not impressed.
