While I understand that this is a small town, I must say that the lo mein at this restaurant is lacking in flavor. It is simply noodles with soy sauce and nothing else. The house special fried rice is also disappointing as it is not properly cooked in the wok and lacks the sweetness and color that is typically expected. I have been a customer of this restaurant since they first opened. I remember asking about the steamed dumplings a long time ago and the server was shocked at the time! My go-to order has always been the hot and sour soup, steamed dumplings, and spring rolls. I also inquired about beef with scallions or ginger beef about 14-15 years ago but they did not have it on the menu. I had to make it at home instead. Recently, I decided to get our regular order of chicken broccoli and butter shrimp as take-out, which cost $50. Even though I don't mind the price, I am disappointed that I can no longer order online. I suspect that the negative reviews are from locals who only eat at the buffet. The service for take-out meals was good and we had a nice dinner. Overall, the price per person for dinner ranges from $20 to $30.
