I do suggest reservations. The meal was top shelf! We started with the crab dip and didn't leave a speck.I had the veal shank and it was amazing! Michele had the sirloin and loved it! Do take the time to eat here if you're ever evenclose to Fredrick.

First time visitors impressed with food service! I made a reservation for our party of 9 to celebrate my daughter 's 20th birthday. We were seated in a comfy loft semi-private section upstairs overlooking restaurant...perfectseating!! Tavern atmosphere as expected. Our waitress was very attentive, sweet provided excellent service throughout ourmeal. Although everything was outstanding the flavors created a party in my mouth, some of the dishes we had were the friedgreen tomatoes, crab dip, butter poached lobster with risotto, crab cakes, arugula salad, signature oyster espresso martini.All dishes made with fresh ingredients their house rolls are incredible! Must try this culinary treat located right indowntown Frederick (allow time to find parking). Excellent experience birthday dinner!!
