This trackside venue blends high-energy racing, tractor pulls, demolition derbies and concerts with a spotless, spacious setting and roomy track views. Events are well run and broadly family-friendly—appealing to motorsport fans, groups and couples—though fair rides were limited. Dining is hit-or-miss: a buffet and Player's Café exist, but guests reported mixed food quality, limited options, slow drink service and strict alcohol cutoffs that affected value. Overall, it’s an exciting night out if you prioritize action over upscale dining.

Place has gone down hill.. very dreary in there.. kinda depressing
You win some you lose some and lose some more. Entertaining
Buffet meal a little underwhelming for $45 person. Vegetables a soggy mess. Processed meatballs I suspect. Salmon had some flavour to it. Didn’t sample the roast beef or Lasagna so no comment there . Staff was very lack’s I guess that comes with the times. Ask for coffee twice from two different waitresses nothing ? Gave up on that. Waitress removing our ice filled glasses of water and leaving empty glasses on table instead?? When asked for water again that request went AWOL ?? However dining room with a view of the track pretty cool. Plenty of room for your party. I would think the buffet meal should be knock down to under $30 a plate for what was offered. Revenue from Track and Casino I suspect could handle that. 3 stars cautiously
Hosted a great outdoor soccer tourney for cavan was a great day
Went to the first Fair at the downs. Kids had a blast. Only six rides, two were kiddie rides. Overall a little expensive for the experience. Demolition derby was decent but nothing new
