Iconic place to eat in QT, Speights Ale House. We ate from the $15 menu and what awesome value for money! Food was great, quality and quantity. Staff friendly. If your after a good cheap feed. Visit here. Located in the heart of the town center

Great beers on tap and delicious fish and chips. Good selection of dishes on the menu. Staff are nice and friendly. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Good vibe and music. Kid-friendly too. I enjoyed reading little bits of history (and photos) about Speight Brewery and it adds character to the place. They have sports channel on the TV if you’re keen, NBA was showing whilst we were here. Excellent service.

Really awesome food and great service. The $15 lunch menu is excellent value, very tasty Chicken and the Pie was great too.

I thought this place was supposed to be far more... idk what, but _something_. Overall it is pretty much just a pub restaurant, but the only key thing I can think to say is that what they are apparently noted for is their meal portion sizes, great for a post-ski meal. Got venison on the menu, a few daily specials, and gravy with most plates which is enticing. I got the seafood chowder bc the idea of hot soup was enticing but the bread and chowder was pretty basic so not getting that again. Should have stuck with the other items I had my eye on.
