**Discovering Humdinger: A Mixed Bag of Burgers and Atmosphere**

Humdinger offers a lively atmosphere and enjoyable service, making it a popular choice for gatherings and casual bites. While the burgers attract attention, their high prices often leave guests feeling underwhelmed, especially when compared to local competitors. Despite some complaints about inexperienced staff and occasional service hiccups, many patrons rave about standout dishes like fried pickles and the Juicy Lucy burger. The venue's function room shines during celebrations, highlighting the restaurant's versatility. Overall, Humdinger promises a fun outing, yet diners should manage expectations regarding their burger experience.

Well it's been a few years since I last darkens the doors of the Humdinger and what can I say but they've definitely stepped up their food and beverage game , a few good beers on tap and a very tasty burger (served with shoestring fries , my fav atmosphere , a bit dark (esp if you're eating but pleasant decor , back ground music was a bit horrid (just not my taste there was a faint bathroom odour Weber I was sitting (not bad but noticeable , lady that served me was pleasant and friendly Overall the layout of the downstairs bar is a bit crowded and would feel very claustrophobic when busy but there's additional seating outside

Decent burgers and a pretty good atmosphere. Easy walk from the nearby blood donation center so a good recovery option if that's the excuse you need. The fried pickles with blue cheese dipping sauce are pretty awesome. We sat at our table waiting to order for a while before we realised you order at the bar. The only place we could see that mentioned was in tiny writing in the bottom corner of the menu.

Gave this place a long overdue try and the minute I walked in I was welcomed by a friendly smile and a non pretentious come as you are attitude. Started with fried pickles as entree then had a sensational cheeseburger and this is the epitome of a simple thing done well.Juicy medium patty, beautiful fresh brioche bun and it was a decent serve indeed with a side of string fries. It's called dude food and I like the fact they have a burger and entree menu and don't try to be everything to everybody.Only downer no light beer on tap but this is no biggie but would be appreciated for us designated drivers. This place is THE place for the best burgers in Frankston. Opted to sit on an outside table and it was the perfect combo of good food, cold pints and friendly charm that makes this place a clear winner.Do not delay get here soon

We arrived with high expectations for the burgers, especially given the $25 price tag, but we were left feeling disappointed. While the service was absolutely excellent, the burgers themselves were just average in flavor and not worth the steep price for their size. If you're in search of large American-style burgers, this is not the place for you. I recommend heading to SpitFire in Rosebud, where you can find huge burgers for under $20.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and a great vibe. While burgers are their specialty, they don't quite deliver for the price—especially with an additional $2.50 for an extra slice of pineapple. You could easily find better burgers at a local joint that would cost half the price. Overall, I don't think it's worth the money.
