I have been following Cafe Moto on facebook for a little while waiting for the opportunity to try out their fare. The coffee is great, a really good roast. Breakfast for me was Moto Scrambled eggs, started nice but towards the end was a little too oily for my liking. My lovely wife had French toast which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service is good. What User doesn't like about Cafe Moto:
Bad start, with no seating or tables available anywhere in the space for over half an hour. If you're going to let that many people in, you should cater for seating and tables.That said, once we eventually found a spot we got to enjoy some great food from the American Meat truck, beer from the Mornington Peninsula - just beautiful, and greek doughnuts. The atmosphere is fantastic, very relaxed. I really enjoyed the chips and the coffee was excellent. The staff are very friendly and the location is perfect, just a few steps from the beach. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can enjoy some sunny outdoor sessions.
Food is very fresh and clean. Coffee is great, best in the area!! Nice outdoor area which is dog friendly. There was a mistake with our order but staff were very helpful and were quick to resolve the issue.
Surprised with the lowish review. For the area this is a pretty funky cafe. This was my 2nd visit (around 12 months apart) and food is still constantly good.
Been here a few times and always enjoyed the food, coffee and service.They've also started up their own food-truck festivals that worth checking out.
Heading back from Mornington on a raining day when we had the need for coffee. Spied Cafe Moto and we were inside quick as a flash. Coffee was great and they also had lactose free milk for the bloke. The lemon slice was tangy. Loved the fit out and the staff were very friendly. Wish we could have tried more but we were on our way for lunch. Shall be back again.
