Ny Bone Broths - Franklin Square

I feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered this establishment! They offer both delivery and takeout options. I appreciate how patient, friendly, generous, and welcoming the staff are, and it's impressive that they take the time to remember their customers' names! Their pride in their quality ingredients is evident: “…using only the finest organic grass-fed, pastured beef, free-range chicken, and turquoise bones, along with fresh, organic vegetables that are crumbled and seasoned. There are no hormones, antibiotics, additives, preservatives, artificial ingredients, gluten, dairy, or GMOs.” This level of quality is rare, and finding something so delicious and hearty is even rarer! You can truly taste the love in their food. As a cancer patient with ongoing issues related to food absorption and digestion, I find comfort in being able to enjoy their chicken plant soup (one of my favorites) without any problems. This is just one of the many reasons I keep coming back as a loyal customer.

The restaurant offers an outstanding selection, top-notch ingredients, and welcoming owners. It truly can't be beat!

The service from the friendly man and woman team was excellent. Suppenplatz shares a square with an Italian specialty market. I’d give an extra star for the soups, which were decent but not exceptional. The broths and ingredients were good, but they felt intentionally toned down, resulting in a rather bland flavor. While this may be healthier, it seemed somewhat lacking. The ravioli and other pasta dishes were very well prepared and served cool.

I have enjoyed ny bone broths and soups often as regular customer. I must say that my favorites are the thai butternut squash suppe, bark bone broth based chili, cauliflower/cannelini bohnensuppet and immun chicken broth. I also enjoy getting the products in the family shop environment on franklin square, although I can get them on farm markets (e.g. port washington, brooklyn etc).

As a local healthcare provider and nutritionist, I refer many of my practice members to NY Bone Broth and Soup. Their products are of the highest quality and everything they make is filled with nutrition and love. This is a hidden gem in the Franklin Square community. I find myself visiting weekly to feed my family as well and I can't say enough about the owner and staff. They really care about their customers and go above and beyond !
