Wonderful food! Was looking for a halfway point between Greenville and Atlanta. Perfect spot. Super friendly people. DELICIOUS FOOD. I wish I could eat there more often. Well worth the stop! Okay bbq, typical place, staff is nice. Wait was long even though there was hardly anyone there and it was not a weekend day. The the stew is puréed like to the point it’s the texture of baby food or vomit. View all feedback.

Best BBQ place on planet earth period!!! I’ve been all over this country and nothing compares to Smitty’s. Hopefully they will install a drive thru window and truck parking. :
Food was soo good, I’d highly recommend the ribs or the bacon cheeseburger. Prices are also very reasonable.
Smitty's Family Restaurant served a delicious dinner of fried shrimp, fried okra and potatoes. The service as always, was great.
Great place for some bbq. The pork was very good. I love the stew. It has great flavor. The slaw is also good. Service was a bit slow when we visited.
