A quaint bar and eatery! Our bartender had lots of personality! We had the fish sandwich, chicken/bacon/ranch wrap chili with grilled cheese. All were excellent choices. A warm, feel-good environment. If you?re in Franklin, put it on your list ofstops.
My fiance and I were driving through town a few days before our wedding and decided to stop and get dinner. It was a little confusing because there's multiple doors and it wasn't clear what the front door was. And then you have to seat yourself. Therooms are a little tight and the wrap around the building in different sections and it's awkward walking through people'sdinners around the place to try to find a place to sit. HOWEVER... the service was nice. The food was incredible. I made my ownpizza. The pizza was so delicious. The pretzel sticks were so yummy. This place has potential to go even higher and I hope theytake every advantage of the small town charm they have. We DEFINITELY plan to return!
Lunch meeting, 1/2 way point, Franklin, IN. Co-worker there first and grabbed a table. While waiting on me noticed a lot of traffic would be going behind me so suggested we switch. Waitress acted a little frustrated. It was a small quaint dining area.Appeared to have seats around the bar as well. Table coverings could be updated. Some might say the whole place could useupdating, but I liked the woodwork and nostalgia. Ordered the chicken nachos. The nachos were light and crispy. Great! Plenty ofwhite queso. Great! A spoonful of sour cream. Ok. Chunks of grilled chicken. Could have been a little more generous. Service...everyone was polite but never made eye contact with me! Wow
Got the beef quesadilla. It was very greasy, abundantly so, and did not really agree with my personal taste. The quality of the meat seemed worse than that of taco bell and I was only able to eat one slice. The fried pickles were okay. The service was goodand I might try them again someday for a less greasy menu item.
