Great prime rib, the pork chops are also superb. It is a bit noisy. Vegetarian options: Great veggies burger.

Grew up enjoying this J. Alexander’s location weekly with my family. Made a point to come while visiting the area and my experience failed to match that of my memories here. Crab cakes were marginal at best and slightly different than previous visits. For a MP item I expected the same or better quality. Bar could not make a proper portioned filthy dirty martini. Ordered two and had two completely different drinks. One straight olive brine and ice shards. The other straight grey goose. Others did enjoy the prime rib but it arrived slightly overcooked to their requested temperature. Server was rude, aloof majority of our visit (100 minutes) and generally seemed like she did not want to be there no matter how polite we were. She was not friendly or personable and had a poor attitude from the moment she took my drink order. I felt so uncomfortable and so did everyone else at my table. When it came time for the bill, she suggested two checks and I said I would only need 1 for our table. After she took my card and ticket from my table side, she returned it to the only man sitting at our table. I do not believe in calling someone out by name in a review but now that I was sent a recent review about the same person I feel more inclined that this is just how she treats customers. Overall disappointing time at Js to spend 100$ per person and leave never wanting to experience anything like it again.

It is a wonderful place to celebrate your anniversary. The service and food was outstanding.

Okay it's been years since I've been in here and had a limited experience got the grilled chicken salad before you order it beware. There was so many wonton noodles in it I didn't realize there was a salad below it have no idea why they're on there and they weren't mentioned in the menu unfortunately I got it to go... it was pretty bad I guess there's maybe three or four ounces of chicken in there it's not too bad but the value and the flavor weren't there and the French vinaigrette is super sweet so if you're trying to do keto just skip it. Should have just got the prime rib lol
