Deli Fresh - Franklin

The food was fantastic! We had 2 Turkey BLT's and even the dog was drooling over it, so we had to share. The place is located in the rear of the building directly across from the front entrance. Went in for coffee at Dunkin at this local gas station. In turn found this deli with the same space. Heading to the beach we needed sandwiches for lunch. We picked up two large grinders, Italian and turkey. They also did breakfast sandwiches and picked up two bacon egg and cheese. All I can say is that this was one the best sandwiches I had anywhere in CT. Yes there are other popular ones in CT but being a local deli, this one didn't miss the mark. Being a New Yorker, we look to the bread to make it a great sandwich. All I can say this bread was very close to be a New York roll. The sandwiches were well made and super delicious! I recommend for all to go and I'll go back again! Thanks for the great food!

What a find! We were in the area this past Saturday and found the well rated Deli Fresh in Google Maps. At first we didn't think we found the place as it's in a gas station store. We were very happy we stopped. With one guy working there was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. No exaggeration, these were two of the best grinders we've had in quite a while. The guy behind the counter, while doing it all, clearly cared about making great food. The ingredients were top notch. The regulars coming in confirmed that this really is a go to place. I sincerely wish it was closer to us we would become regulars, too! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
