Not sure if this is one of those places where the owners are becoming filthy rich and employees are struggling to get by. ?

There was a young man... read more We stood in line for over 5 min the girl at the register never asked anyone for their order. She literally stood there tapping her nails. There was a young man who was in the kitchen in no uniform. We were getting frustrated with them because they were playing around, the young man with no uniform came from the back with his hands inside his pants, walked to lock a door. Went to the young lady who wouldn't take anyone's started laughing, scratched the front of his crouch bagged our food. Another employee handed us our food left out of the building with her friends laughing. Needless to say, we threw over $40 of food away and had to find somewhere else to stop.

The woman who answered the phone seem... read more I’ve always had a great impression of Chicken Express since it opened, but I was disappointed with my call-in order today. The woman who answered the phone seemed uninterested and even hung up on me before taking my name. When I called back to provide it, she simply said, “Oh, it shows up.” Then, when my husband picked up the order, it had fried okra instead of the green beans I had requested—I can’t eat okra. Plus, there were French fries included that I never ordered. If my husband hadn’t checked the bag, it could have been a real problem.

I dislike going here, but my kid... read more Unfortunately, I have to revise my review of this restaurant. Over the past four years, its quality has declined significantly. I dislike going here, but my kids enjoy the fries and tea. We often receive food that feels reheated or chicken that's been sitting on the warmer for a while. If you order a mixed box, be prepared to get mostly dark meat, as they rarely include white meat except for the wings.
