Wonderful restaurant that treated us very well on our anniversary. Started with Salmon toast. For entree's we had Filet served with an egg, sides of mashed potatoes and broccolini and 5-Spice Duck with carrots and sweet potato; unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the dessert but it was amazing.
I know many know this place and this was our first time. Drive was lovely to this quaint town. This is so Tennessee to me. Just walking up I loved this place. Small intimate location as you approach. Not many tables so y'all need reservations. Greeted with a great Old Fashioned and great drinks from the bar. We had the chicken flatbread with chicken and the risotto. Both were delicious especially if you love mushrooms. The plates were generous and the service was good. Great atmosphere and worth the drive. Great place for a date but probably less for a big party. Gem in Leipers Fork. Look forward to it next time.
I’m shocked at how great a meal here must have been for others on other days. We didn’t get waited on for over a half hour the flat bread was delicious, as was the duck and the chocolate dessert the other two entrees were terrible the lettuce wraps were almost inedible arriving with a sloppy presentation, the risotto was gummy and bland our waitress was delightful but service was painfully slow!!!! Won’t come back or recommend to others. Service: Dine in
Food was delicious (got the tomato soup and the lamb bolognese) and the place itself is lovely.
