Warning! Take cash, you can’t use Visa or MasterCard. This place was near our hotel and looked inviting. We got the last table and had a hard time deciding what to order. Everything we tried was tasty; the patatas bravas weren’t the Spanish kind but...still worked! Staff were lovely and very helpful and there’s a good range of drinks. View all feedback.
What Susanna Runge doesn't like about Espanita:
As a hungry couple, we tried to find a decent restaurant to eat at 10 pm near to Leonardo Royal Hotel in Frankfurt. This one was just 400m walking from the hotel (and the weather was chilly). House wine was ok, service was a little...less than expected (spanish service), it took a while to bring us the menues, but the food was also very good. We had pork tenderloin and beef steak with salads instead of house speciali... View all feedback.
No more luxurious place at all. but a cozy little bistro you can relax and have a few nice Spanish cuisine. we started with something very beautiful icy sangria. and then we had some very garlic garnel, fried calamaris and garlic mushrooms, all well tasted...(although I thought the garlic sauce could be better if a little saltier.) for the main we ordered a paella with fresh seafood, which was very beautiful of authentic Spanish taste and of course. although this restaurant was a bit from the center of the city, it makes the beautiful eating worth the 8-minute train ride from the main railway station.
This cozy restaurant is perfect for going on a date with your best friend. The house wine is delicious, as are the tapas. The atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly.
My friend and I were happy with the recommendations of the staff wein and dessert. the food was delicious. faster service. I will go back there definitiw.

We had garlic prawn, mussels in wine sauce, the meatballs, the grilled calamari and of course, the Paella Marinara...not forgetting the Sangria! And we were blown away! Superbly nice!
