The ice cream was very good. They offer 5 vegan sorbets, mostly made of nuts, not fruits, which makes a nice difference to a standard fruit sorbets. I had coconut coffee and salted coconut scoops, and both of them are very tasty. As the downside, this ice cream is somewhat more expensive as others in the area. View all feedback.
What lilScorpio doesn't like about Antipodean Gelato:
I had a scoop of salted coconut ice cream, which was yummy, but the only non-sorbet vegan flavor they had and it was 2,80€! It was yummy and I appreciate the (handmade) quality but 2,80€ is still like… uff, for one scoop… View all feedback.
Traditionally kept in jars to preserve the taste. That’s a real artisan ice cream shop. They started with 3 different vegan version but are now offering more vegan than animal based ice cream. Love to see them go more into the plant based direction. Everything I tried here was amazing. You can add chocolate shots into your cone. Be aware that the homemade waffle is still not vegan unfortunately. Hoping for a vegan version soon
Went here several times during the summer and I had the vegan dark chocolate ice cream every time. It’s delicious!! I was so wrapped up in the taste experience that I can’t remember anything else on offer. Strongly advise a trip there on a hot day
Nice small take away ice cream shop with changing flavors. Best ice cream in town. Offers self made vegan waffles
