I had the Full Irish Breakfast but contrary to what is in the menu, it was only one piece of toast (cut in half) and Meggle butter instead of Kerrygold. Other than that, very good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Waxy's Irish Pub:
Got to the entrance only to be shouted at to go back to the stairs. Went inside and tried to sit at a table only to be told not possible again really bad attitude. No way is this an Irish pub. No customer service and very bad attitude. Avoid if you want a good night out. View all feedback.

Great place for watching sports, and english premier league EPL or F1. They have around 8 TVs just on the outside and plenty more inside. Limited food options for vegetarians. Vege burger was just a big portobello, but their sauce was great. Wonderful crowd for big game. The TV programs volume is controlled by 1 big man. Even when no one is watching a certain game, he refuses to change.
Excellent sports bar, they play soccer games most of the time but play all the big games when there's a competition going on. A lot of rugby fans gather here for games as well. Food, drink and service are all good but their atmosphere is their selling point

What a disappointing experience! We celebrated a friend 's birthday with a sizable investment for 20 people, and the service was a disaster. Despite a reservation for a large group, we were left waiting, drinks and food orders forgotten. The air conditioning in our reserved area didn 't work, forcing us to move the party to the outside area, where we then faced rejection from the bouncers, who apparently don 't welcome new people after 2 am, even though it was only 1:50 am and we 'd been at the venue all night, only picked some food outside as their kitchen was closed at 9.50 pm. Calling this place a pub is a real stretch, and the 1/5 stars that I’m reluctantly giving, is the bare minimum. Quite the letdown, Waxy’s.
