The Cooking Ape - Frankfurt am Main

We were there for business lunch with our colleagues. Food was good, except the sweet cake for dessert , which was too dry according to my tongue. However service was a little chaotic: we got soup together with the main dish. When we asked for...the soap first the waiter brought main dish away. After minutes of waiting with empty soup bowl we asked for that dish again, but it was no longer available maybe provided to other customer, huh...? I would like also expect the waiter will bring away empty plates from table when he or she goes around our table... Especially when the customerwaiter ratio was around in the time of our visit. I also missed a WiFi a little bit..

When I was greeted girl at the counter realised that I didnt speak much German so she kindly offered to translate the menu for me. I got a small soup, coffee and salad. The serving size was very generous maybe I am just used to...Australian standarts and soup was very yum and came with sliced bread. Salad was ok, i wish they served dressing on the side so I could control the amount. Coffee was nothing special, a bit weak for my liking...but once again maybe I am used to a certain standard. Overall I thought the service was very good and everyone was friendly, some dishes have room for improvement but Ive enjoyed my lunch there

We had breakfast after a great party over there. Service was not very warm and welcome. The food and beverages were nothing special. Overall we can say that staying there was not very good but also not too bad
