Traditional Thai restaurant with a good selection of dishes. Tastefully very good, although the specified degree of sharpness was rather adapted to the German taste. But this is my opinion, think that many of the other guests were sharp enough. But you get help if you want. Service was very friendly and accommodating despite a lot of operation. Visited this restaurant after a recommendation of our hotels concierge, he said ist the best Thai in town. Well.... while the food was good the tom ka kai soup was average we ordered a bottle of red wine and it was quite warm a big dog from the neighbors table was occupying space under our table and smelled.. well like dog. Our German colleague recommended rama w after we had found that it was impossible to get reservations in my local favorite restaurant, which was randomly correct. .
Needed a break from our neighborhood outside of Frankfurt and decided for a dinner at Rama V. There were only options for seating. It was either pm or pm. We, party of arrived at o’clock and were checked for vaccinations...and IDs. The restaurant was packed to capacity and it was almost mind blowing to see how close and without any safety distance people were seated. Lucky for us, we had a table at the very end of the restaurant. The menu is extensive and all dishes sounded extremely delicious. We ordered a variety of starters and main courses. Sadly service was slow and we waited more than hour for the first dish. It took another hour for the main courses to arrive. The food was very good, as expected, but sadly, in Corona times, we were not able to enjoy ourselves due to the high number of people surrounding us. I strongly feel that the management should be more respectful of Corona rules. It took the fun out of our Saturday night!
Fantastic place! The food was delicious, the service also it was fantastic, that place left me a good impression! I will visit again!
Amazing place next door to my house! If you enjoy German-styled Thai food as much as I do be prepared to visit this place quite a few times before you’ll be done with tasting their whole menu! Atmosphere in the restaurant is great ..you can go there practically for any occasion from a romantic date to a business meeting all works perfectly!
