Our works Christmas party was here last year and we had a fabulous time. The food was excellent, goose, Knoedel and red cabbage and the wine was fantastic. Had our own dedicated waiter for the night who was always on hand to offer suggestions. Would...definitely return View all feedback.
What Jochen Roth doesn't like about Neuer Volkswirt:
Schoener Abend, coole location fuer ein abendessen mit freunden von ausserhalb. Leider war das essen nicht so super abgeschmeckt- was ich von mehreren am tisch gehoert habe.. Desserts waren aber gut :) View all feedback.
Company party here allowed for my first encounter with German food. I was brave and tried the Frankfurter Handkäs mit Musik,Kümmel,Butter und Bauernbrot, Frankfurter Schneegestöber mit Bauernbrot. and Frankfurter Paniertes Schweine Schnitzel mit Grüner Soße und Bratkartoffeln. All of which was great but I have...to say the Schnitzel with green sauce and fried potato was by far my favorite! The atmosphere was great and the staff awesome! Thanks for a great evening. Since it was a business event I am not sure of the cost

I really like this place. It has a cellar and several rooms upstairs that are sometimes rented, so make reservations. Ive had salads here that are awesome, and the steak is good too. They have some good south american wines. The prices are just as...they should be. I have been here several times and never have been disappointed
Meier Volkswirt is tucked away so isn't the easiest to find, but it worth persevering as the food is good quality and it is good value compared to some restaurants in expensive Frankfurt. Good bratwurst and good steak but service can be a little slow....The garden is really a clever use of a car park and it is odd when residents leave the underground car park by driving between the tables! Not a place for a romantic dinner but good for a relaxed business evening
This is a rustic, nofrills place that is very centrally located, just off Fressgass. There is a weekly menue for the timepressed city whitecollarworker, and it is the kind of place where he might feel tempted to take his tie off for a while. Food...is a choice of local favorites as well as salads and the semiItalian variety. During warm summer nights it is also a good place to sit outside and sip a glass of wine or two
