We starved directly from the train and the desk dealer in our hotel recommended this place. they have a lot of options so they find something, but.
We stayed overnight in frankfurt and wanted to eat German and found this delicious and charming restaurant. I found in Germany or Austria, so it was happy to find this jewel! I ordered the food to go and it was perfectly packed and the stewing hot. let me tell them it's absolutely delicious! huge portions of perfectly boiled and juicy pork cuckle, tasty potato and sour wort, which had the best taste. my daughter had the carving and loved it too! Moreover, the staff were friendly, professional and overall we had the best meal of our two weeks trip in Central Europe. so glad we found this place and will be definitiw again next time we fly to frankfurt and stay overnight.
All right! very German bar, typical eating and local beer, only one problem. no English menu and waiter looks like you don't want to speak English: but that's not a problem: anyway, everything was good:
Popped in here for a quick dinner on Sunday night. Food was above average though not outstanding. Jaeger schnitzel was terrific with the mushroom sauce being a highlight. Pork knuckle was also good with the sauerkraut the highlight. Beer on the expensive side but food...cheap. They tried to charge us for two beers when we only ordered one. Seemed a bit dodgy so they may have tried to target us as tourists...
