Best Worscht in Town might be the better Spicy-Sausage -venue in Frankfurt, but Curry25 is quite an institution in the red light district that nowadays hosts more and more Tech and other start-up companies and is one hip neighborhood in Frankfurt. The sausages are good, the fries fresh and the sauces good and can be spicy if you order so. View all feedback.
Unbeatable value where the quality of the Wurst and the Bread is remarkably good. In a seedy part of town but handy for the Hauptbanhof.
After being told I NEEDED to get currywurst next time I was in Germany I looked for somewhere to get some in Frankfurt. I could only really go to the place actually called CurryWurst! The man spoke limited English and my limited German wasn’t much help. But I ordered a currywurst with frites and a beer. He only took cash so I had to go get some but it was worth it. Wurst was perfect, Curry was tasty and the fries were seasoned perfectly too.
I was a bit apprehensive since I'm not a fan of super spicy food but this was great. Michael explained the menu choices. They have a mustard-based sauce for the fries that I loved (and I always take ketchup over mustard).
It is fast food, so don't expect anything else. And it is in the Bahnhofsviertel. Meaning: you most probably have junkies around you while eating here; but the sausages are really good (butcher quality), the spice levels are up to the point an elephant falls dead to the ground and the scenery around you, with a Wurst and a beer at your side, is so hilarious (and not really dangerous) that a visit makes sense.
Richtig gute Burger ! Das Brötchen selbst ist schon etwas besonderes . Aber erst die Beilagen . . . Ein Genuss ! Die Currywurst schmeckt außerordentlich gut . Zu empfehlen ist das Bäckerbrot aus Natursauerteig . Schön dicke Kruste , so wie man es kaum noch bekommt . Ein super Imbiss !
