Contribute Feedback What Emmy G likes about Café Casablanca:
This restaurant is off one of the main roads in Frankfurt Bockenheim. It is situated in an inner courtyard of an housing estate, but a large sign shows you where to enter. It has indoor as well as outdoor seating. The outdoor area has lots of plants all around. The cuisine is mediterranean and tasty. Occassionally, they organise Tango evenings. In this case, the tables in the middle of the restaurant are removed and... View all feedback.
What Gilda Gislason doesn't like about Café Casablanca:
If you don't know where this bar is, you don't find it either. You can also walk by, because there is only a small sign at the entrance of the farm. From there it goes around the corner to the backyard. There is the Casablanca Bar, which reminds of a movie bar. The small student bar is decorated with film posters. Otherwise, the bar does not have much to offer, except for cheap prices. The cocktails are numerous, but... View all feedback.
Hidden oasis. So much can be said to this place. After luck following the exuberant sign at the entrance already requires some courage but you will be rewarded. With a wonderful, hidden slightly chaotic place, where the world still seems quite right. At the first moment, the ambiance is a bit diced together, but it is the right charm. Many trees, many light chains and a lot of tables and chairs and with all his friends to spend a wonderful evening. The drinks and cocktail card is huge and for Frankfurt's conditions at totally human prices (7€ for a 10/10 cocktail where there is something else?! The menu is versatile and there is something for every taste! I highly recommend the Baba Ganoush. The service is somewhat overwhelmed by a large number of guests, but nothing can be forgotten and a small waiting period can be adjusted well in advance. I look forward to my next visit!
I've been in Germany for over 30 years and have never seen such a bad place. The food was horrible, very downstairs.
Really original shop with nice ambience. Beer prices could be a little cheaper, but the cocktail prices are great.
The location is quite nice, with covered outdoor terrace (in the colder season in the tent) and a somewhat different decor. The food itself with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine is also very appealing. What unfortunately is not at all is the service. No matter how much is going, the waiting time for the food is actually always 1.5 hours. The apology last time, the cook was burnt on the first time...
We like to go here mega, is actually our regular pub alone for the atmosphere and the prices for the drinks, but lately it is becoming more and more noticeable how the store is underused. And this is not the fault of the service personnel, who are always very friendly, but can always only take care of one thing at the same time and so it is enough if a larger group is present, so that you can hardly be served at all and have to wait long for simple orders.
