Bull & Bear - Frankfurt am Main

Very slow. Had English menu but couldn't find it. Managed to get flat coke but never came back for food order.

Bull and Bear has a variety of delicious food and is fairly priced. I go regularly for lunch and dinner because it´s located is in the middle of the city, with lots of seating area outside, not so much inside. Unfortunately the one and only HUGE let down is the staff. No matter when I go there, no matter which staff member serves us, they are always rude, unwelcoming and it seems like they´re oblivious of what how they´re meant to treat customers. Once I was trying to find change in my wallet to pay and placed a large note on the table, the waitress went under my arm and snatched the note because she did not want to stand there waiting. When they bring the meals, they just dump the dishes on your table and leave, no smile, no eye contact, nothing. They seem like they are in pure misery because I´ve never seen a staff member smile there. Great food, however the waitresses there definitely need to be trained on how to treat customers.

I have see that restaurant cross the near and I have think why to dont't try the food ? .... Bad idea. We have whait 20-30 min just to come and ask us what we want to drink and eat(on the restaurant was 2 more table with 3 people . Don't was full or something like that to have a escuse.) And then whait more 15 min for the drink and 30 for food. Finally i have spend 2 hours just for whaiting .... + eat time ... They are moving slow... sorry but that it's my opinion.

If you want some decent (average) food in a good central location than go to Bull and Bear. They have a good selection of drinks and a tourist type menu (available in English or German). A very nice open air patio It's decent food and a standard price for the area. You can probably do better if you look around but if you look around more.

Had lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a Bull+Bear Burger, Chicken Burger as well as a Halloumi salad. Both burgers were absolutely terrible. They arrived at our table after a 40 minute wait both dry as a bone and cold. Since we were hungry we decided to ignore that fact and go ahead and eat. When we asked for the check we were told "that's going to take a while!". After a 10 minue wait she returned and asked if we would like to pay together or seperately. We told her that we'd pay together. She then said: "well...then you'll have to wait again!". Anothe 5 minutes later she came back and asked if we'd like to pay cash or credit card? We told her we'd pay with the credit card and she replied we'd have to wait again and that they didn't take American Express anyway. Come on...really. This could have been done way more efficiently and friendlier!
