Great appetizers tapas, better not. Have never eaten a main dish here but the Churros as dessert when they are offered are excellent. Unfortunately, always very full and thus partly very loud. If it fits from the weather, I'd rather sit out. View all feedback.
You would want to get the Spanish feel? Visit this Bodega! I met with some friends of mine there, and as usual we could not decide what to eat… so we spoke to the team and they made the necessary arrangements. We had tapas all evening long. And they were DELICIOUS! The menu is nice, and gives you a good choice of various Spanish dishes. Not only Tapas of course, there are some excellent main courses and soups / starters too. The wine list is a delight too!Ok, for me it was all about the Apfelwein… Auch ein Schoppen passt zu Tapas The service was throughout the entire time very attentive and friendly. The place was busy, and there has been quite some coming and going all evening long, so it’s certainly part of the local community. Price wise it’s reasonable. The quality of food is excellent. Compliments to the entire team and the owner of the Bodega, it’s certainly worth it going there!
Amazing food! Amazing ambiance! Amazing service! Feel like your in Spain! The best tapas in town and I sincerely recommend this restaurant to all!
We often Land in Frankfurt for an over nighter , and often eat at the Sheraton Hotel,We felt it was time for a new Restaurant , so we asked the concierge at our The Sheraton Airport hotel If he can suggest something with great food , ambiance and well priced, He suggested the Bodega el Amigo, A Spanish Tapas place , he knew of this place because the owner of the Restaurant was the former manager of the hotels restaurants,So we took a cab there approximately A 20 minute drive and 25 Euro cab fare ,and it was worth it !!We were 4 guests that do not speak a word of German , but to our surprise the complete staff all spoke English , so with such a selection on the menu that is all written in German , this was a blessing in disguise. We had several assortments of their Tappas all great , but the chorizo al Brandy was the crowd favorite , we than all shared a Paella , Wow !!! Unbelievable , we travel to Spain on business often , and this tappas rivals with the very best we've had in Spain, We also had a steak and it was wonderful ! All this taken with a nice Red Rioja , the perfect mix We met the Owner Mr.. Sacha a Spaniard leaving in Germany he was A very Simpatico person ,The restaurant is small and cozy , it also has a outside terraces ,Service, food , Ambiance was amazing , and really reasonably priced We will certainly be back! OLLA !!
Nice and cosy place with great paella like in Spain. Friendly service. Good drinks. I will come back.
In town only for a night we asked at the hotel where to go for dinner - after a short cab ride we ended up at Bodega El Amigo. What a treat. We were welcomed and guided through the menu enjoying everything we ordered. The service was impeccable and we were surprised to learn that it was our waiter's first night. Good food, good atmosphere at a reasonable price.
