The lasagna was creamy with... read more As is my tradition, I ordered the lasagna, which serves as a good benchmark for any restaurant that specializes in Italian cuisine. The lasagna was creamy with a nice sweetness from the ricotta, but I found the sauce to be somewhat sweet as well, and the cheese was under-melted. I believe the dish would have benefited from a bit more garlic, a touch of more acidic tomato, and a stronger infusion of oregano to balance the sweetness of the ricotta. Other members of my party ordered beef dishes, which were cooked slightly over but otherwise offered very satisfying flavors and sauces. I would recommend Serafini to anyone visiting Frankfort, especially after a bourbon distillery tour or a day at the Kentucky Horse Park.

Everything was delicious and the food arrived quickly without any issues. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
