Pollo Bandido - Frankfort

I absolutely enjoyed this culinary experience. the staff and the service were excellent. I want to eat here again.

I went today with my two teenage daughters. The owner was quite nice and very friendly. He let us try out the different sauces. I had the half chicken with wedges. Great bbq! My daughters loved their selections as well. We will definitely be back and soon. Downtown Frankfort is also lovely. Only minor complaint and truly minor...not enough sauce on the chicken. Next time I order I'll just ask for double sauce. Very delicious and worth trying in my opinion.

The owners/staff are amazing and the food was delicious. I went here for lunch today and got the half chicken and one side lunch. The chicken was huge, well seasoned and tender. I got the cilantro jalapeno barbecue sauce on the chicken and it was slightly sweet and spicy. As my side item, the potato wedges were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Highly recommend going here for lunch, but give yourself enough time for them to make it because it is a small place and they make everything fresh.

Had the pulled pork Wednesday lunch special. Meat was tender flavorful and the BBQ sauces were very balanced, not cloyingly sweet. The staff was very accommodating super friendly. Definitely want to come back for breakfast! If you haven't checked out this place, you should!

Food was delicious! The nachos had lots of flavorful meat and toppings and the relleno (potato ball) was so satisfying. The owner came around and made sure we were happy with our food and experience. I would make it a regular stop if we lived closer.
