Pretext... I was with 4 friends, 3 of which lived in Roma at the same time I did. We spotted this place on Trip Advisor and stopped by Francofonte for lunch! We were not disappointed, it was 1pm on a Thursday and although one of...a few tables there, had an amazing meal sat in the courtyard following the Waiter and then the Chef's recommendations for House Apps (grilled veg, meats, cheese), House-Smoked Sausage Pasta as primo and then a Smoked Sausage with Polenta for secondo... Ok so we could have been more adventurous but we this place had a great vibe with very friendly people and an even better playlist (music made it)! All in all, 5 people, food, beers, water and cokes came in at 80 euro. 6 out of 5 if it was possible!

If you are anywhere near the town of Francofonte in Sicily you cant miss going to this restaurant. The food is so delicious and the service is fantastic. Home cooked meals, wood fire pizzas, the works. Best value for money. It was so good that...we keep going back there and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. Tonight we ate from our maria the most delicious fish in the world! fregular with fish comics, squid rings in batter, sanded swordfish, baked mineral, grilled tuna, onion tuna, fried shrimp and dulcis in fundo the marinated leaf, a secret recipe of maria. not to mention freshly baked bread and hot focaccia! proof! a guarantee

More than a restaurant is a typical trattoria very characteristic although with reduced spaces. management is familiar and courteous and very informal service. the dishes we ate were delicious and genuine. we recommend the first with cavatelli and sauce mixed with meat sausage, pork and beef,) exceptional. recommended!
