Cabane a Pierre - FRAMPTON
Cabane a Pierre
Description
A sugar shack in the forest, this place left much to be desired. High prices and slow service, with bland food and lack of warmth indoors. Good entertainment during dessert, but overwhelmed waitstaff. Visitors recommend trying a different sugar shack next time. Despite a cozy ambiance, the food did not impress. However, a tour group enjoyed great traditional Quebec food, entertainment, and a walk through the forest to sample maple syrup on snow. Overall, this sugar shack offered a true taste of Quebec culture with a fun atmosphere, but fell short in terms of food quality and service.

La bouffe et le service est impeccable. Une belle activité à visiter pour découvrir une cabane à sucre typique du Québec.
Visited this sugar shack on an EF Tour with my school. We got to learn some basics about how maple syrup is produced. The supper was excellent with a good taste of Quebec culture. We had sausage, pancakes, ham, fresh bread, soup and of course, we had maple syrup taffy on ice. The fiddler was very entertaining and we had a blast dancing and even did a limbo contest! Would recommend if you are looking to have a good time.

I've been there for 4 years, but this year 5 was disappointing. The food was okay, but not so good that I remember. There were some entertainments that represent Quebec traditions, was good during the meal. The waitress seems to be overwhelming. Not enough waitress for the crowd of people during lunchtime. Next year I will try another sugar snack Cabane à sucre . Lower line, too expensive for the quality of food..
