Nestled in the charming town of Fram, The Station offers a vibrant atmosphere that combines a cozy pub experience with impressive culinary offerings. Patrons have praised the friendly service and delightful menu, highlighted by specials like slow-roasted pork belly and improved pizza selections. While some diners have faced inconsistencies in food quality and service, the overall ambiance remains a strong point. With ample parking and the option for outdoor seating, The Station is ideal for both casual lunches and special occasions. Despite a few critiques, this pub stands out as a notable dining destination worth visiting.

We stayed in Framlingham for 3 days and ended up eating here 3 times. The quality of the food was incredible, beers really good and the prices really resonable. We got there on Sunday at opening time and in 30 minutes the place was really busy. If a pub can attract both locals and visitors, it deserves to do well. And this one obviously does. The Station Hotel is the standout pub for food in Framlingham, far surpassing its competitors. The staff are welcoming, and the menu offers great value and quality. There's also an impressive selection of drinks, featuring many local ales, ciders, and a solid wine list. The pub is on the smaller side and enjoys a strong reputation, so I recommend making a reservation to secure a table. In addition to being a fantastic spot for dining, it’s also a pleasant place to enjoy drinks. The clientele tends to lean towards an older crowd, which is a nice change of pace compared to younger pubs like The Castle Inn and The White Horse. Plus, on Thursday evenings, there's a fish and chip van that sets up outside, serving up tasty fish and chips that are a perfect accompaniment after a few pints.

Wonderful menu and delicious food! Lunch here is a truly relaxed experience. It can be a bit pricey, but it's worth every penny; I've never had a bad dish. The cuisine is bistro-style, featuring a variety of guest cheeses. The ambiance is rustic and laid-back. They offer Earl Soham microbrewery ale as well as a good selection of wines. It's advisable to make a reservation for dinner.
