What User doesn't like about Sheerwater:
Not the best experience from a menu and pricing perspective. $15 for a loaf of bread, $34 for ONE crab cake, and $24 per Baja wedge salad. I know it’s the Del- but a bit on the expensive side. View all feedback.
The place is nice, but the food is not as good as I expected, I have ate way better food and also the prices are way to high for the dishes that they offer.
If you’re looking for a breakfast buffet in or around Coronado, look no further. It’s a tad pricey, but that’s to be expected for the location. Regardless, the food and service is amazing. Get a reservation though because unless you’re there at 7:30am, it is busy!
I completely understand that anything at the Hotel Del is going to be expensive, but we didn’t even drink any alcohol and I might have to get a second job to recover the costs : . Our server was really great, and the ambiance was cool, especially at the holidays, so I don’t want to complain. I would love to come back, but there are other places with great food and ambiance that are a much better value IMO.
I had a great time with my team in this restaurant but the food was quit unsatisfying.
Always a great experience, especially at Christmas time.
