Using fish from local markets, the preparation is about calculating just enough heat and time on the grill. Accompanied with salad and rustic and delicious cooked vegetables (couve migas). Coffee came with locally made cakes and other honest desserts. All of this on a terrace (you must reserve) steps away from a splendidly long white beach and a languid lagoon. I brought my friend here who was on her 1st visit to Foz on a recommendation . I had been to EUROPA with family when we first bought our house 10 years ago, as nowhere else was open on a Monday night, and hadn't been back since . Fantastic location on the beach of Foz do Arelho, Europa offers a good selection of seafood and meat. We visited for lunch and sat outside on the terrace, filled with customers. We had the shrimp salad, a good portion with about 5 shrimp, tomatoes and several types of fruit. Very refreshing. The other dish was octopus lagareiro, which was served with traditional potatoes, broccoli, beans and cabbage. Both dishes were very good, the staff attentive and friendly, and the proximity to the ocean can't get any better.
