What User doesn't like about Twenty8 Food Spirits:
We made a reservation after seeing the brunch menu online. However, when we arrived, we were informed that they don’t honor reservations and don’t serve the online menu. Instead, they only had a small buffet available. While the food was quite good, it was not at all what we had anticipated. The online menu looked fantastic, so we were really disappointed that we couldn’t try that. We likely won’t return for the buff... View all feedback.
My husband has a conference at patriot place, so I came along. We had appetizers and drinks with his colleagues here. Service was very, very slow. They weren't that busy. The food was good. I recommend the sausage flatbread and the bacon wrapped beef. Drinks were over priced, and weak. If I'm going to pay $13 outside of Boston for a martini, I expect it to be mostly booze, not mostly juice. I say have appetizers here, and drink somewhere else.
Understaffed and No Urgency Waited 30 minutes for the waitress to come to our table, it was another 15 minutes and we still did not have our drinks. We observed our waitress going into another part of the restaurant function room I assume, when there were plenty of patrons waiting to be served, Understaffed and no urgency

Twenty8 was just OK. The plain paper menus should have given me a clue that it wasn't going to be anything special. We wanted an app that they had sold of the DAY BEFORE?!?!? The waiter was also the bartender and seemed annoyed that he had to be bothered. The menu was super limited (again, I should have figured that when there wasn't a menu on their website) so we stuck to the $18 burgers. The bun was dry and cold, although they had grill marks. The fries were good at least! There are lots of places to eat at Patriot Place, pick a different one than Twenty8!
We figured we'd give them a try before the fireworks at Patriot Place because they had open reservations. Turns out there was a reason they did. Our reservations were for 7:15 and we arrived roughly around that time due to event traffic. We started with drinks and an order of wings which came quickly. Then we ordered our dinner. We waited about 45 minutes before having to ask to get our food to go so we would not miss the fireworks. They were even running a limited menu and still couldn't get food out in a timely manner. There was no apologizes from the staff or acknowledgment of the wait. We actually over heard several other groups requesting their meals be brought out to go. The staff appeared annoyed by this. It is safe to say we won't be going here again.
